Vida Jovem offers three programs:

• Residential: for children between 6 and 18 years of age that need a home, psychological support, tutoring, and extracurricular activities
• Community: for children that do not require shelter away from their families, but who can benefit from tutoring and other extracurricular activities.
• Alumni: continuing support after completing the Vida Jovem program, including counseling, life skills, and higher education, among other forms of support.

Complementary Learning and Extracurricular Activities

Participants in all three programs take advantage of Vida Jovem’s Vatterott Educational and Cultural Center. The educational program emphasizes dedication to academics as the main path for children to attain opportunities for professional growth. Our promise is to develop the potential of the children and adolescents according to the pace of each and their individual needs, and to prepare them for higher education and future job markets.

A selection of activities is put together for each scholar, providing adequate stimulation for intellectual development and creativity. Complementary courses include Math, Portuguese, History and Geography. Scholars also attend extracurricular courses in English, Computer Technology, Spanish, Art, Music, and Dance, in addition to professional courses outside of Vida Jovem in hotel management, culinary arts, and hair dressing.

Moreover, children regularly practice sports, including soccer, basketball, and volleyball at Vida Jovem and swimming, in conjunction with the Ipiranga Municipal Center.
